The Divine spark within you, is only waiting to be ignited. Do not let the ways of the World dampen your Spirit, & doubt that spark of God, that rests within you. The seeming negativity can curb it, scare it, push it, deter it; but know - that it can never, ever, eradicate this spark.
This very seeming negativity, is most of the times, without it knowing, used as a trigger by Divinity to ignite that Spark of its very existence. It is made a catalyst, to remind you of that inherent Spark within you, which though latent through lifetimes, has the very capacity to set the World ablaze with its shining power. The power to transform you, into who you truly are.
